He got his hand down quickly to it but it canoned off his hand on to his knee and in.

It's not an error, but he could also have done better. You see keepers mop up things like that all the time and I'm sure he'll be disappointed. But I certainly wouldn't balme him for the goal.
Anyway, it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but it shouldn't be any surprise that our players aren't some of the best. |  |

Yeah, its not a howler, but you want a keeper at this level to be saving that, having got a big hand to it. |

Being the Town keeper is a challenge in the PL, Walton had a very Muric like game against Brighton which makes you wonder if it's just the way we play which plays a part in that | |

Walton, being a keeper that has made a direct leap from League One to the Prem is already doing a fantastic job after sitting out an entire Championship season in 23/24.
Of course, he has his limitations when compared to almost any other keeper in the Prem BUT when you sign a keeper with Prem experience and outstanding statistical data for 8, 10 times of what Walton cost of course everyone would expect him to be performing much better. Unfortunately that is not the case.
I agree though, new keeper needed next season regardless of whether we stay up or down. | | | |
