To me, among the excitement, is why I'm puzzled about the focus on the Philogne, Doak type players as signings and targets. They're the sort of players you have when you are on top of the opposition on a regular basis. We simply don't have the possession or the ability to transition quite yet to make the best of these types. |  |

Hate blowing my own trumpet but have been saying this for weeks. Phillips is nowhere near the player he was and Morsy isn't mobile enough. I hate to disagree with anything KM does but why we keep buying forwards when the need is for reinforcements in midfield are needed I don't know. The midfield is both your backup for your defence and supply for your forwards. Neither of which the current midfield can do. | | | |
