I disagree with this just as much as the OP (pre edit).
You are well liked. It’s just your opinion on this that people are disagreeing with. They (we?) are playing the ball and not the man. Which is a good thing.
Nobody can post things everyone agrees with all of the time. I basically saved this club from total oblivion with my #EvansOut campaign on here after every game and people still even have the nerve to disagree with me. Is it #ThankYouRommy every day? No. Is it ‘wrong again here rommers, try again tomorrow’ sometimes? Yes it is.
Either way, you’re a good poster and have said yourself TWTD helps you in tough times. The place would be a poorer one without you.

I’ve never left early, probably never will- but on cold days like today if people would rather get home 20-30 minutes early and spend time with their loved ones that’s their perogotive.
I find the defensiveness about leaving early a bit odd- if I was to leave early I wouldn’t give a monkeys what anyone else thought and I certainly wouldn’t feel the need to defend myself- just encourages more silliness. |  | | |

Don't do that Swailsey. You are well liked and I understand why you posted what you did.
My journey home takes 2.5 to 3 hours, and I stayed to the end. And it was worth it, because McKenna and players really appreciated the response from the North Stand, as shown by the fact that they stayed on the pitch for a long time (just as at Brentford where they suffered a real body blow). Bit different when most football started at 3pm on a Saturday & most games were done by 4:45. Now, kick off dates & times are all over the place, while you can often have 7-8 minutes added to the second half. While the latter is a disincentive to leave early, it certainly wasn't yesterday & the ref sensibly only added 3 minutes. |  |
