SBRU....If you have to go early, can you please do it when there's a break in play, bloody annoying when your trying to watch the game and someone's in the way....and you missed the best bit, the reception of the team at the end was heartwarming and a show of unity. The players looked like they really appreciated it... |
Leaving the game when play is ongoing is less disruptive than leaving for a pi55 when play is ongoing then coming back when again play is ongoing. |  |

I understand what you mean Swailsey, i also understand that anyone with a bit of a journey home would think, let's beat the rush, but 65 mins does suggest some people dont understand the effect it can have on the team. What i would say is, those of us that stayed to the bitter end, and gave the team some respect and support, will know from the look on the players faces how much it meant to them that we did see it through and show support. That might be enough to make them want to put it right next time.
Those of us who like to sing will all have belted out 'we support the ipswich, if we're down or if we're up' maybe think that one through a bit as its not just about being down a division but being down in a game too, another 25 mins of you're time would show you mean what you sing. Come on, let's show everyone that we really do support them when we're down as well as up. COYBS. | | | |

I can't say anything, I stopped watching at home at 3-0.
I had stuff to do and quite frankly I didn't want to depress myself watching the rest of the game.
Looked back at the score, and it was 5.
My point is, people can do what they want. If I was there live, I'd have stayed as I don't get to many games.
It's the late kickoff on a Sunday. Work in the morning. Those who have to travel 2 hours home might think if I leave now, might get home 1.5 hours early. [Post edited 19 Jan 20:18]

You are well liked. It’s just your opinion on this that people are disagreeing with. They (we?) are playing the ball and not the man. Which is a good thing.
Nobody can post things everyone agrees with all of the time. I basically saved this club from total oblivion with my #EvansOut campaign on here after every game and people still even have the nerve to disagree with me. Is it #ThankYouRommy every day? No. Is it ‘wrong again here rommers, try again tomorrow’ sometimes? Yes it is.
Either way, you’re a good poster and have said yourself TWTD helps you in tough times. The place would be a poorer one without you.
