Guys we are all emotional after games 20:52 - Jan 19 with 1493 views | Nutkins_Return | And it's pretty normal to be frustrated etc after a big defeat. Just a reminder on what this team/club have done over the last 2 1/2 years. Our turn to show up and support them and pick them up?! I think so.

Guys we are all emotional after games on 20:55 - Jan 19 with 1439 views | pointofblue | This an interesting argument. As a club, agreed. As a team, only four of the starters were with us in League One and a fifth joined us last year. It's not the same group who got us promotion two years in a row. And whilst I admired the "Blue Army" rendition at the end of today's game, I couldn't help but wonder where it was after Brighton.

See. Called it. Everytime. Even KM is coming out with it despite fielding millions of pounds spent on them players who continue to look less of a player than the ones they are replacing. That's the frustration. Out older players are still looking the better which really shouldn't be the case. Imo. I just get fed up with this board sounding like the relegation season under lambert. Clapping the town to relegation as its OK things will be better when we go down. We will be back up etc etc. No one knows how tough promotion back will be. Many have. Many haven't. Its not a promise. I'm not on here for positive emotional therapy I'm here to see and talk about how football actually is. How sht it is. How good it is. How meh it is. All of it. But the constant following of every defeat of where we've come from. How masterful the manager is. How amazing.. is. It turns the forum into a happy clapper fest. Christ we've got posts about people leaving at 0-6. Who really gives a sht if they do.. the players won't cry after. They'll pick up their pay check and go onto the next game.

And yet context is so important Frimmers. Put aside, the whole L1/ Championship quick promotion for a moment. We are a squad assembled for less than £100m. Man City are a team that happily invest that in a single player. We can discuss and debate the players we have brought in but we don't and likely cannot operate at their level. We have to approach our football differently. Now take into account our injury situation, blooding new players etc. Being positive doesn't mean accepting a thumping from City, far from it. But the ability to see the wider picture, and that does (whether you like it or not) include the rapid rise we have enjoyed under KM, is important. It's called context. That aside, I hate the constant negativity from some on here, so it works both ways fella.

You still here. I thought you had crawled away for the evening after yet another "finest hour". And now attempting to take credit for the worst display of nappy soiling this decade. What the hell is the matter with you ?

Why does it matter if they were with us in league one. 5 of the starters got us to prem last season. 9 played tonight and 11 in total in the math day squad. There was poster today saying no fight or desire out there. Nonsense. At no stage did we down tools. They were just too good for us. Didn't think we were even bad tonight. Defensively we couldn't cope down their left and we have to look at that. All I'm saying is we need to help pick the players up now. See tonight for what it was. A brilliant side being a step too far for us

If you're sick of certain posts on the board you do have an option...As a never attender you have absolutely no right to be digging out people when they take a measured response to the current situation.

If you're here to talk about it, why did your post shut the topic down and belittle people holding those opinions. [Post edited 19 Jan 23:07]
