Leicester winning at Spurs shows that 99% of the time, you’re wasting your time.
Nothing is guaranteed. Predicting where we will finish based on who we will play and how others will fair ain’t worth the time of day.

You saying we might get a draw from Man City or Liverpool?

Anyone predicting a Spurs win would have been done in hope and not expectation.

I think most of us would have predicted Leicester beating Spurs, considering how the latter are playing currently.

Would you have said Spurs are relegation candidates prior to the game?

I thought it might be Man U but maybe we should be looking at Spurs?

Surely everyone knows Spurs are proper $hit?! Incredibly frustrating that they probably just have enough points from the start of the season because they have been awful last couple of months.

In that case we were hoping for a draw then.

This was on the cards.

I've been saying for weeks, based on recent form tracking, that Spurs are on a trajectory to be pulled into the relegation battle. They still have a buffer, but it's disappearing quickly.

Thankfully they limited Wolves to 1 point.

'Shock' results are actually a very predictable thing in football. It's just a matter of deciding which one or two it'll be in that round of games. I usually go largely on gut instinct.

This is the third season in a row where we have been hugely invested in other matches and not something we were used to in the years (dare I say it, two decades) that preceded it.

Ourselves, Wolves and Leicester seem to take it in turns to be the 'happier set of fans' each week.

It's a comfort thing. We get a result, the other two lose meaning we sit outside the bottom three or level on points and we are buoyed praising our spirit and togetherness, while on the other side of the fence RVN is booed and there is a meltdown at Molineux.

A week later, results go against us and we are miserable and we lament our lack of strength in depth and comfort ourselves by the story and where we've come from.

This is going to be the story for the next eight or nine weeks and until a big enough gap opens up between us all, nothing is settled. A fully autonomous spell of us picking up points would go some way to negate anxiety over what other clubs are doing.

Was stunned that the spread betters had spurs to win by nearly a goal and a half. Stayed well clear of that. Thought a draw at best with spurs form.
Have a friend who has a spurs season ticket. At least I only pay a third of what she does a game so losing is just tolerable. Can't imagine having to shell out over a hundred quid a game for standard seats to watch the current spurs fiasco.
