If we stay up now he’s a genius 17:04 - Feb 1 with 5174 views | Mullet | So many poor decisions all over the pitch. Morsy far too slow and ponderous in the ball. It’s so sad seeing his legs have gone. We just let Saints pick us off it seems and didn’t have the belief or clinical mentality needed. If you’re going to blame Muric solely and not three or four players ahead of him during each goal, well then I’d suggest watching the replays. Absolutely stunk the place out and bottled it today. They had two of their best players off injured and we didn’t go for the kill. Fcuking infuriating to say the least and it’s likely to cost us millions.

That sort of player is starting to struggle in the Championship let alone the prem. If you look at all the teams with limited budgets who do well - Forest / Brentford/ Bournemouth... They've adapted to big physical athletes as attacking wide men. So that you can turn teams over and make them face their goal even if you don't have much of the ball. Going direct becomes a possibility.

If we stay up now he’s a genius on 19:38 - Feb 1 by JammyDodgerrr | Been saying on here for weeks we need to start Phillips instead of Morsy. We're paying all this money for him to be here, he's got the quality and I genuinely believe he just needs a run of games with Cajuste and he'll be good. Our reluctance to use him and drop Morsy is gonna kill us. We haven't hesitated with any of the other stalwarts but McK seems to be trying his best to not do it with SM. Also, I'm confused by Godfrey. Guy is an absolute unit, we needed and still need physicality in the team and he's sitting on the bench. I get that TZ is back fit but Godfrey absolutely would've contributed today in an attacking sense, you'd feel. [Post edited 1 Feb 19:44]

Genuinely thought Phillips would drive us along and while he did well at Liverpool it feels like he raises his game against the top teams, knowing that it won’t matter too much. In games like today you feel that the level he can bring would. I love the championship and being a decent side in it, but we are and to be falling apart like we are is so bloody frustrating. I can take losing, I can’t take being gutless like today.

We won't be staying up.... on 19:45 - Feb 1 by Bloots | ....for many reasons, most of which are obvious and not really a surprise. Looking at today in isolation, the thing that frustrated me the most was our inability to move the ball in any way that was not our normal "pattern of play". There were a number of times today when a quick incisive attack was possible, but the "pattern" meant that we had to pass it across the back fours and into midfield, then back to the defence, wide to the full back, before eventually playing the ball that was available from the outset. This constantly leads to the opposition having more than enough time to get back into their shape and easily repel our "attacks" We are so very predictable and as a result, as you say, easy to pick off and defend against. As I said, taking today in isolation, that is a problem that KM has created and he needs to deal with. |
There were times today when going long totally breaks them. We also have the players to make them foul us, regardless of Oliver’s performance. Look at Everton. Pickford got an assist after 10 seconds ffs

If we had Pickford or Ramsdale in our team we'd probably be a couple points clear of the bottom 3 by now.

ah but dont let facts get in the way of people ranting random nonsense ;)

Wow! I never knew Paraguay was a part of Britain. You learn something everyday.
If we stay up now he’s a genius on 21:47 - Feb 1 with 729 views | seblue78 | I appreciate today was very frustrating and that people naturally look at those who didn’t play as saviours who would’ve done better (see for example the L1 players), but nothing in his performances so far this season suggest that Phillips would’ve made sod all difference today. I’m sorry. Our problem today wasn’t Morsy. He can’t stop Muric ballsing it up or make the front 4 be better with their final ball. He’s just seems to be the latest scapegoat. We can certainly improve in that area (and maybe we will) but with what we’ve got him and Cajuste are the best combo in that area. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/13301059/ipswich-1-2-southampton-pr Watch him during both goals. Let’s ignore the times he had passes intercepted or lost possession today etc just watch both goals and keep an eye on Morsy.

What insistence is this? Total fabrication, not backed up by any fact.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/28846848/premier-league-transfer-news-ipswich-kie If that is the case I'd wonder how he'd survive at Spurs or Brighton. ALL PL clubs have a starting XI that resemble a mini United Nations General Assembly. If McK can't work in a multicultural context he'd never be a top manager.

Please don’t link the Sun here ffs. Let alone use it to prop up some sort of weird theory like this.
