We need a keeper. Maybe this will force their hand.

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

There must be a half decent keeper out there that we can bring in.

I must admit up til now I have supported Muric but enough is enough. I think his confidence is totally shot and would actually rather play Slicker now if Walton is out for a while. Not that Walts is the answer either, but I' just can’t see us using the budget to sign another keeper unless of course Walton is out for months.

Could get Hladky back. Although my confidence in players bought from Burnley is at rock bottom.

We need better than both honestly and there's very little time to address it now.

*Better than both have shown so far, anyway.

Can we still loan or have we taken our full quota?

Imagine if we did, he came in and played some blinders to keep us up. Folklore immortalisation!

I think that clinches it for me that we need to get someone else in - I don't think that either Walton or Muric are good enough, and if one is out for a while then that compounds the issue.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

That's him, Chaplin and Szmodics, and Greaves and Hirst earlier in the season, out for over a month apiece with injuries that either didn't happen in matches, or did but didn't seem to be anything (or lead to a sub) at the time. Problems with our training intensity and/or our rehabbing again...? Hoped that was behind us

Slicker will definitely start the cup game. Who knows, he may stop everything that comes his way.
I’m finished with Muric now, his performance today was a total embarrassment.

Poll: Are we happy with the takeover?

Not sure we can blame Muric's confidence level, these lapses happen too often for it to be anything other than just his baseline standard, and the benefits of his supposed upside aren't frequent or reliable enough to balance it out. Oh for a Premiership-experienced keeper, even if it's on loan, to take the heat off...

New number 10 in the door on Monday then.

I’d rather play an injured Chaplin in goal that Muric in all fairness.

In a dream world I’d take Kelleher on loan from Liverpool now that Alisson is back and he’s not looking like playing as much. Send back Phillips to free up the loan slot.

I don’t know if I can handle watching Muric week-in-week out for ‘quite a few weeks’
