Brilliant laugh, next to nothing about Ipswich but made me think of his game against Rotherham, arguably one of the best centre back performances I've seen for us and completely unexpected - I actually bumped into him at Thetford Go Ape and he finished my sentence when I said how good he was against them, lovely bloke.

Not sure it was unexpected and came out of nowhere (largely because I can’t recall where his career with us was at before this game) but Dalian’s hat trick against promotion chasing Middlesbrough was simply stunning. Raw power, electrifying pace. Incredible display and a shining light albeit too briefly in an otherwise mediocre few seasons. RIP Dalian. |  |

Hate to be that guy but that game sums up his time with us. Always looked exciting, promising, perhaps too good for the level...but actually produced next to nothing.
