Tuanzebe second yellow (n/t) on 15:43 - Feb 15 with 1712 views | redrickstuhaart | Incredibly soft, but ref gagging for it. Villa player threw himself over. First yellow looked like he got the ball. Meanwhile McGinn can put himself about, scream and shout at the ref, and no sign of card. Usual stuff.

First yellow I agree with. Second one, you're being ridiculous.

Nope. I get why its given, but there was no impediment. Ref bought the dive.

Rightly or wrongly those are always a foul now, without fail. If it's the other way around and we don't get that given half our fan base would be screaming about a conspiracy. First yellow felt harsh as he got the ball but he still got a lot of the man and only a slither of the ball, so not that surprising either. --- editing this, I take it back - it wasn't a foul or a yellow card! the first was never a yellow, it wasn't even a foul.
| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

Not sure it's correct that it's better to concede than get the red? We'll probably only know that at the end of the match.

Michael Owen and Ian Wright just confirmed on the replay that the first one wasn’t even a foul and if VAR was used to overturn yellow cards this would have been. I also can’t believe McGinn hasn’t actually been booked when he had made more fouls than Axel. The ref is definitely a homer.
Tuanzebe second yellow (n/t) on 16:10 - Feb 15 with 655 views | Exiled2Surrey | The other problem with the first one according to the commentary is that Mings fouled Johnson and it wasn’t given - which is what resulted in the situation in the first place
