I'll almost be disappointed with less than 4 points from the next two games.
United just awful full stop and Tottenham almost unwilling to put the game to bed, how many break aways and half chances did they want?

Aren't some seeing a poorer performance than what it was v Southampton?
Broady should have had a hattrick, we had our own waves of attacks but simply chose the wrong passing options at times and they did end up winning, but i've seen worse performances than what we gave v Southampton. |
Considering Southampton's clear lack of quality I wouldn't say the performance was good either. |  |

I disagree, compare the two fixtures or any of ours over the same side in the past 2 seasons and it was our best effort by far, it was final balls and finishing which let us down imo, Julio, Broadhead, Delap all should have scored. Delap passes to Philogene and it's 2-1 town etc for example.
Result wise definitely sucked, but performance wise, it was absolutely fine for me besides the fact we just didn't convert.
Could it have been better, of course, but I don't think it was 'poor' or bad etc. | |

Yes, it was an improvement on the home game in 23/24, which is only really remembered for Sarmiento's winner, and probably better than the away game too (though I'd argue we performed better at St Mary's in 23/24 than we did this season), but that's not to say the performance was enough. | |

That is the plus point really, the expenditure has enabled us to at least catch up with the likes of southampton and leicester. It might not be able to help us with the rest of the league, but if it's helped us catch up in that respect then it's a good thing going into next season. | |

The performance should have been enough to win the game. We created plenty of chances that we didn't take and limited them to not much. With a competent keeper, we'd have won the game. |  |

Enough to be outside the relegation zone, possibly with a bit of a buffer. For balance, Muric has also made some great saves at times (Brighton away being an obvious example) but the number of big errors directly leading to goals has been hugely costly. We probably would have a very impressive win against Bournemouth on our record if we had a different keeper. | |

13 games 1 win 4 draws 8 defeats 9 goals scored 6 opposition goalies got clean sheets. Unprecedentedly bad. For a season ticket holder with very low expectations to start with, who doesn't see away games, it's been a bit disappointing to watch. | |

Expect more of the huff and puff with no goals then they score with every shot they have at our goal. We'd make the weakest ManUre team in ages look like prime Barca.
