I think if you went fast enough over a speed bump you'd leave your balls behind!

Excuse my ignorance but how do the balls work? How can they spin in any direction and still be attached? Are they even attached? Not my area, clearly, probably massively obvious.

The balls would just get stuck in pot holes a spin.

Can we just skip to the bit where we get hover bikes?

I presume they're not attached, and are electromagnetically driven. Sensors/gyros and logic will keep the chassis perched on top. In theory. Unless it fails, or flies off above if you go over a bump too quick. Hence 'leaving you balls behind'.

Not sure if it's any fun in the bends - doesn't appear to lean at all from that clip.

Not that practical really, as there's a risk that you might get your balls stuck when filtering, and that's gonna smart.

It looks impossible to fall off but it is only going slowly in the clip. I wonder what it is like at speed and what that model's top speed is. Clearly only at prototype stage.

My guess would be better than a regular motorbike.

Doesn’t it just. Although it would be better if they’d made it able to hover (no issue with potholes then).

You can see each ball is connected on three sides by black and white links. The left and right handles are used in different ways to get the machine to move forwards, backwards, sideways and diagonally.

The links rotate the ball depending on what way the handles are moved.
