To build for next season, woe betide we do a Luton.

Was always a free hit this season, but alas not up to it.

Good plan, we could ask the Premier league if we can start playing West Brom, Swansea and Middlesbrough to get ourselves ready.

The last thing we want is fitting European games into a 46 game season, especially with the new format.

We aren't going to do a Luton.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I'm pretty sure winning the FA Cup and a season in Europe is not the last thing I would want.

That decision was taken in January if not before

We're 5/6 points off Wolves with a quarter of the season to go and we play them at home. We're improving as a side.

It's not over yet.

We lost 4-1 today. Massive improvement yeah.

It was never a free hit. Free hits are for teams with no ambition, something which our owners, manager and CEO have in abundance.

It hasn’t worked out so far but no point in giving up - that simply sends out the wrong message.

If we are relegated then there’s no shame in that. But building for next season is just giving up with a respectable spin.

....we'll struggle to get 10 more points this season.

We'll probably get another 6 or 7.

We won't be staying up.

Agree, I think we'll be well short of 30 pts. 18th should be a realistic target now.

I can't see us staying up but we are not gone yet. The plan should be to keep trying to win football matches. That is all there is to it.

Our methods and training are already preparing us.

Sorry, but I genuinely can’t see where we’re improving as a side.

We’ve picked up 2 points in nearly eight weeks since New Years Day, and that includes playing Southampton.

We beat Spurs, Wolves & Chelsea in the eight weeks prior to that.

We’ll cobble together maybe 7 more points before the season ends.

Improving side? I’d love to believe you, but I’m not seeing it. And at the end of the day it’s about results and they just aren’t coming.

It’s not a moan just being realistic.

I'd say it was a free hit as we were certainly not expecting to go up from the Championship at the 1st attempt, I think the plan was to get in the Premier League in 3 or 4 years.

As fabulous as it was last season, we have found that we didn't have the squad that could complete in the Premier League and acquisitions were needed but it looks as though it is going to take time, more than one season for these acquisitions to truly work. The Premier League is brutal as we are are seeing.

There is the remote possibility we can stay up, a win against Man Utd would restore some faith, but I just think Wolves now have and will continue to do enough to pull ahead no matter what we do.

So my initial point is we need to use the remaining games to get a settled side, that will next season challenge for promotion.

We'll lose Delap, but if we can keep most of the rest of the squad we should be up there and not have a nightmare season like Luton.

I'd also be happy if we could say get 23 pts, that'll be more than the Budgies achieved there last two times in the Premier League.
