Palace roll call, pre-match pub? 12:54 - Mar 7 with 4100 viewsunstableblue

Who’s heading down to Selhurst Park for some eagle taming in the spring sunshine?

Strangely buoyant about this one - Hughes and Mateta out… time for our players to galvanise themselves, put the season to date out of mind… and play up to our potential on a warm March afternoon.

Hoping Enciso and/or Omari fit, and Phillips in. And we go for the five with Wolfie, and Johnson.

Ground guide suggests The Prince George at Thornton Heath for an away boozer - anyone going there?

Think we’ll stop off at Borough Market from London Bridge and hit the Market Porter… always good in the sun and for a London game.

Enjoy - and COYFB!!

Not able to go tomorrow because a close friend of my wife has been rather rude and is getting married to her fella in the football season.

I've got a real mixed record at Selhurst, I've seen 4-1 Town wins where Pim Balkestein looked like peak Maldini, 5-0 defeats in the very early Mick days where we gave away 3 penalties, and a few in between. I think tomorrow will be a tighter one, I just hope we can 'stay in the game' into the 2nd half which would give us chance of going on to take 3 points.

Enjoy the day travelling Town fans. Beers in London Bridge in the sunshine & jumping on the train to Norwood Junction is definitely the one. Very frequent trains and only 12 minutes down from LB. Norwood Junction station is very close to Selhurst Park. Easy.

Yeah I’m sat here now really cheesed off that I can’t go either, I think it’s the glorious beer drinking weather.

I usually come out of Liverpool St. station main entrance, cross over the road (as if going to Dirty Dicks) and the buses that side take you up to London Bridge. Then train to Norwood Junction is 20 mins or less. Proper train is much quicker than the Overground, which stops everywhere.

If anyone accidentally finds themselves at Cry Pal station, just jump on the 410 bus to East Croydon and that'll take you pretty close to the ground.

Walk to London Bridge surely? It’s 15/20mins

Yes I was going to say we usually walk to London Bridge, may do that instead of the overground.

Especially on a beautiful day like tomorrow is set to be, lovely walking over there.

I'll be at London Bridge for 12 somewhere and then probably the 18:00 or the 23:30 home depending on the result.

Put stop in the cross keys, or the folly

I REALLY want to be on the 2130ish home… but the 2330 and Town after tend to call me to them

Please mate.

I’ll have spent all day decorating the daughters bedroom so anything would cheer me up, even some flowers again would be lovely.

I have a 2 week old. I've managed to get a pass for Palace assuming I do the night shift tonight.

Can't wait for a pint and 3 points!

People not go to the Barrowboy and Banker any more?

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Train from Lowestoft. Bus replacement on the Norwich line so its a long trundle down to Ipswich through the Suffolk countryside and via every town and village on or near the A12 in between. Change at Ipswich and meet in a pub somewhere in London. Exact venue yet to be determined, but within striking distance of Selhurst by overground. Probably.
Have to be on the 21.00 latest out of the metrolopis or I shan't get home!

Meeting my old man and some pals at London Bridge for midday. He refuses to drink anywhere other than a Wetherspoons, so heading to the closest. Then will try and squeeze one in near the ground.

Depends if you have nice comfy trainers or not.

Town fans are everywhere around London Bridge ahead of the game.

And there is optimism!

Old King’s Head by far the best singing - a rousing Ebeneezer Brown.

We’ll start tonight’s Video Verdict with some footage of these scenes.

Look out for the show tonight, released as Wolves lose (ahem), and take part in Homer’s 3 words to drive the views.
