Watchig their match Vs Oxford on Sky (I know before you roast me) but the standard really shows the gulf between the Chump and the Prem. They really are very very average verging on poor. And to think, their muppet supporters think they are a better side than us and that the only ITFC player who would get into their side is Delap!!!!
Deluded, entitled muppets

Same as any relegated side that doesn’t go back up quickly, they’re getting weaker and weaker. It’s inevitable and especially when the parachute payments run out.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Not sure on their total and net spend but they’ve shelled out a fair few quid this year.

It’s incredible how far the quality of football in the championship is behind the PL.

The movement, the pace and the first touches are light years behind. Optimistic should the worse case scenario happen to us this season.

They were absolutely terrible last season but twice we couldn't beat them.

We all say this but we can never beat the bastards.

Ipswich sit 2nd in April and flying, something like 20 points ahead of them. Boom a sickness bug rips through our squad the day before (confirmed by McKenna). Half had to still play with it. Our luck hey.

And amazingly they're only 3 points off 6th. More than doable for them to make 6th I'd say. It's the scum way hey.

But likely down to 11th and further adrift after tomorrow’s games.

Personally I think we made too much for the build up I would prefer we treated it like any other ordinary game where we going to just pump the opposition.

At this stage in the season, I think the form table is a better indicator of who is going to get into the playoffs rather than the actual table. Coventry and Bristol City have the momentum at the moment but Nodge, Blackburn, Boro and Watford are all floundering. Mowbray’s West Brom will be in the mix too I suspect.

Home game maybe but then had Broadhead finished his dinner he could've had a first half hat trick and we go in 3-1 up at half time. Would've then ended 5-1 as we really would've taken the piss 2nd half.

Scum were abysmal that day but there you go.

Away leg we just never showed up but turns out illness killed us that day.

If they stay down then I'm praying we end the hoodoo in style and bag a 10-2 over two games against them (just to see their head loss on their inbred 9-2 banners).

It is, and it's also incredible how quickly we get used to the change, and our players have adapted (not fully obviously) to it. The knack is to maintain your PL qualities to as large an extent as possible if you go down, and dominate games and the league with that movement and pace and touch.

Easier now perhaps that pitches are generally pretty good all year in the Championship? But it's maintaining the mentality that you need to put in those PL level performances week in, week out especially against lesser teams like Oxford or Norwich.

There's a couple in the balance TBF. WBA are winning but down to 10 men so need to hold on. Meanwhile Bristol City are behind, but now facing 10 men.

Norwich could easily end today 6 points of 6th.
