Just had a quick google. sainz is out of contract next year and so they will either accept a reduced fee for him or let him run down his contract. Sargent’s injury record might well count against them getting a large fee for him.

How does the deal benefit anyone. If it has all turned to **** in France then Marseilles hardly want him going forward, especially for the price agreed

The only advantage I can think of is that it allows the buying club more time to raise the funds?
Possibly, it allows the selling club to tell creditors etc that it has a guaranteed income for next season. [Post edited 25 Mar 16:17]

My feeling is the latter two aren't worth as much as they probably were
Rowe clearly has a goal in him and you can't underestimate how useful that skill is but he has a lot to learn
He was anonymous at Portman Road besides the goals, the second was particularly flukey, let's be honest about it but he is an asset for sure.
Sainz is talented and will yield a decent fee, albeit he could easily end up in a situation like us with Philogene and Clarke. The SPL might be a better place for him, talentwise but that wouldn't bring the premium Nodge with want.
If I was Norwich, I'd be very worried about losing those three and replacing them with inferior players as we did going from MM to Hurst and signing some absolute garbage. [Post edited 25 Mar 21:37]

Rowe had a bit of freaking goalscoring season which made a few sit up but he was never actually that good. A bit like C_ntwell.......or even our own Danny Haynes. [Post edited 25 Mar 17:00]

Very one dimensional as far as I could see, and as much of a non-team player as Saint. Sargent is good, but has fitness issues. All three quite badly flawed, but the budgies have often managed to sell rubbish for good brass. |  |

For his second goal against us he was offside when the ball came across, he fouled jumping for it then as he got up he handballed before scoring.

I'd trust only Sargent out of that lot. A good scoring record in a career that had him playing in the Bundesliga, plus only 25. I'd actually want him here to be honest.
Sainz will go for silly money solely because he will win the Championship golden boot and that will carry some weight.
Rowe I've never understood the hype about but lets face it if we have to shell out £20m's on J. Clarke & Philogene then they'll be demanding the same. | |

I think he probably is quite good to be fair to him, he knows where the net is but his game outside the goals isn't that strong, which is probably why he hasn't ripped it up on loan | |
