The other promoted teams don't. That's the reality of the huge gulf.

What are you talking about we were woeful. Total lack of fight and desire in the second half when already winning the game. Clear to see for anyone at the game.

Good quality for where we are? Where? We have about 2 players of the quality of the premier league which is where we are. No one else has been at the level other than Delap and Cajuste.

Why do you think, for 2 seasons running, the 3 promoted clubs, have gone straight down? Lack of effort?, Poor management?

Don’t think I’ve ever seen him be critical of one thing ITFC or even question a sub etc. Second half was poor no doubt, got pinned back, didn’t react and never got on the front foot. We proved first half we could be a match for them. The very rare time we didn’t have a breakaway we got outmuscled. Wanted to have a better go than that as our season (although in my mind already over) was technically on the line. Wolves were always going to be fine though, regardless of today’s result.

Yes. It's context. We are two seasons from League one. We need more time to develop the team and the squad. We're ahead of both the other promoted teams who have lots of historical PL money. Not really sure what some people are expecting, it's going to take time. SB

Maybe he was talking about the second half, we all know about the gap to established PL sides.
That was such a hard watch on 17:37 - Apr 5 with 2918 views | Parky | Agreed. I’ve never known a team in a losing situation, let alone a must win game to do absolutely nothing and actually be on the back foot. The amount of away games I’ve been to over the years when we’re winning by a goal, the other team are all over us, chucking everything at it. Not us, we just let Wolves do what they want and not create a single chance.

What is your point? That has nothing to do with the second half performance today which was abject. Passive , no desire and could not string more three passes together for 45mins It was as clear as day that changes had to be made within less than 10 minutes of the restart but yet again nothing was done.

Not sure why we always have to go so relentlessly to bigger picture and back to back promotions etc everytime we lose, when we are specifically discussing the game today, tactics and if we got anything wrong in the moment,

Nothing to do with going to take time. We are talking about the context of one half of football in which we couldn’t even do the basics right to give us a fighting chance of staying up- despite how poor we have been all season.

We fall off a cliff in the second half of our home games. It really is as predictable as it is frustrating. No way was that staying 1-0 after H/T.

Bar the matches where we fall off a cliff in the first - Everton, Man City, Newcastle, Spurs, Forest...

I think we should have either properly gone for it and brought on fresh attacking subs or completely flooded the midfield (not sure won was on the bench though). Otherwise it’s just death by a thousand second half cuts. It was so predictable. Too rigid today, what was there to lose?
