Rough game 20:12 - Apr 5 with 3904 views | itfcjoe | But Wolves have so much quality, like everyone else in the league it seems! We are done now, but so many lessons will have been learned - and when we come back for 26/27 we’ll come back knowing more with a vastly superior squad as a base to come from. This league is monstrous though, the gap is so big and so hard to bridge

You can only give an opinion based on the current facts (minus obvious exceptions, like we won't have Delap)

Rough game on 20:28 - Apr 5 with 2865 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Wolves are 3rd in the form table with 13 points from 6 matches. In isolation it wasn't a bad result. I would suggest dropping so many points from winning positions overall has been our main issue.

Understood but assuming we lose Delap (a more than reasonable assumption) how will we build a "vastly superior" squad? And do we assume that KM is still in charge and that that is a good thing? The "current facts", for example, assume that we don't lose Delap.

Some bargains in Brazil then, Murillo was even cheaper than that.

I agree we just didn’t turn up 2nd - not for the first time. First half I thought Wolves were the worst opposition i’ve seen this season

Presume he is one out of their super agents stable - many excellent Portuguese and Brazilians attracted He’s got 10 caps for Brazil, unbelievable really that someone like that plays for Wolves….and then their other CM was a Brazil international too!

Rough game on 20:41 - Apr 5 with 2635 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Wolves were very good. Much the better team no complaints at all. We all wanted the miracle of survival but as you say, it's so hard to do especially for a team who's been on our journey. Hopefully we keep McKenna and im sure we will be fine next season.

Your squad can be stronger despite losing one of the best players, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and all that.

10 recent caps for Brazil. Just one of the many Wolves players who showed how big the gulf in class is. And I think it is that gulf in class is which is the reason why we have with only one or two exceptions done worse at home in the second half than the first half this season. Thought the midfield was the big difference between the teams today, we couldn’t get near them. Yeah I suspect so, don’t know the ins and outs but he was quality and Cajuste looked a fair few steps below him.

Since Wolves changed manager they’ve been the 7th best team in the league - last 15 games

At least it won’t be a season we look back on and think 28-30 points would have kept us up.

We have to start looking a little further afield, we might not have been in the position to get everything up and runnning with back to back promotions but we have to use our money better.

Been banging this drum a while but you might have to be somewhat established or have a link to attract some of these players to your club.

I thought they were pretty shlte, there wasnt an ounce of quality on the pitch from either side today. We watched better football in League One. Wolves won the physical battle hnds doen though.

Yep exactly. Wolves probably finish on around 40-45. We were never getting there.

Sarabia who came off the bench and scored has nearly 30 caps for Spain and was signed from PSG.
Rough game on 21:00 - Apr 5 with 2302 views | NeedhamChris | I think the awful job that Gary O'Neil was doing meant that we forgot what a quality side Wolves had. It's impressive how badly he was managing them. Squad wise there are weaker squads than Wolves in the league - there's just been no sign of any of them having a terrible season like we'd have needed them to have.

Rough game on 21:01 - Apr 5 with 2301 views | runaround | Most of the established premier league teams are packed full of athletic specimen with power, pace and durability. Our players look like weaklings in comparison. As and when we return to this level this will be something we need to address and with the right scouting in the right places these players can be found probably abroad and possibly cheaper. In hindsight we have spent a lot on players some who have not been good enough or have the right physical attributes for this league. In Championship though it’s a different matter
