The most nervous I’ve ever been over a football match, horrific viewing experience.

What a night, knew we had done it once that FT whistle went, the relief!

Town are one point away from a return to the Premier League after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Coventry City at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Kieffer Moore’s eighth minute goal gave the Blues a 1-0 half-time advantage, but the Sky Blues, who were in charge for long spells, levelled through Haji Wright on 64, however, Cameron Burgess restored the lead with his second goal of the season five minutes later and Town saw out 11 minutes of added-on time to secure three vital points and put them a single point away from back-to-back promotions.

How quick does time go by the way…? Mental.

Best away day (league) ever for me. Pips Barnsley on the basis of the prize at stake and doing what we had no right to do last season.

Having to sit in the home end wasn't particularly enjoyable.

Getting to go over to the fans and players at the end when the Cov fans had gone was great though after being behind the goal and not celebrating.

Barnsley for me - the importance for both teams, the tension of the first half and then the bang bang of our goals just before half time. Most of all the feeling I’ve finally having done something and seeing 5,000 town there to enjoy it with faces who had been there in the very lowest of lows.

Coventry was amazing (and Huddersfield better than Exeter) but I’ll always hold that day in Barnsley very fondly.

Yep. Me too. My carpet hasn't been the same since.

Absolutely horrible. The second half felt like a week but on watching back, we were strangely comfortable. Didn't feel like it at the time.

I was at a gig in Colchester that night, watched the first half in the Walkabout pub, left at 1-0 up and tried to ignore the compulsion to check my phone every 30 secs. Glad I didn't watch the whole game, don't think my nerves could have stood it.
Just rewatched the highlights, not sure I'd seen the second half before, how the hell did we not get a penalty on Omari??! Even worse than the decisions we've had this season!

I agree with you that this was the point at which it became clear that we'd done it.

Even though I was watching at home, I had far more of a 'moment' at the end of this game that I did being in the ground for the Huddersfield game.
