Nah. VAR is supposed to intervene on big things - the ball was going very wide and Harland wasn't about to knock it in - would have been very harsh to have sent him off imho |
It was going very wide because Henderson pushed it wide though. If he doesn't touch the ball, Haaland can knock it past him and have a tap in. It's debatable enough that I can see why VAR didn't get the ref to have a look. Thought the defender got a toe on the ball for the pen as well. |  |

Yes it was he was no where near the ball slid in and there was contact, inviting trouble. |

The defender definitely got a toe on the ball for the pen. From the behind view you could see the ball change direction. Who have they got in the VAR room? A couple of chimpanzees on crack?
Cracking save mind.
It’s a fascinating game. Palace are brutal on the break. That’s what you need if you’re not going to see a lot of the ball. It’s where we fell down this season with far too many chances missed and normally early on in games. |  |

Presume you are on different feed in USA? BBC showed a few angles and one was near conclusive he knicked it. Smallest of touchest and little deviation of the ball though. | |

Seen second angle does look like a very slight toe on the ball (maybe after contract) probably a 50/50 call for VAR that to overturn as clear and obvious.
Henderson is lucky in my book, no doubt but that would have ruined the final so I’m selfishly pleased. | |
