I have to disagree. We've stagnated a little at worst.
It's been a tough season where we have shown we can compete but we've also seen just how tough it is to win and win consistently at this level. Our transfer business hasn't delivered on keeping us up but it still looks decent when you look beyond this season about incrementally improving the squad.
I suspect we'll see a lot of business this summer that will, again, see an overall improvement.
The takeaway here is what KM and the team learn and takeaway not just for next season but for when we eventually return.
I'm as disappointed as everyone else it hasn't worked this year but I'm sanguine about it - I have enjoyed the ride for what it is and am proud of the boys. |  |

It feels like the whole season changed on Mitoma's goal at Portman Road. We were coming off the back of some decent performances/results, were not out of the game against Brighton, but seemed to fall apart off the basis of going behind and didn't recover - not just against Albion but for the rest of the season. | |
