I think the difference is very clearly understood by nearly everyone. Unfortunately, Israel has gone at length for some time to conflate anti-Zionism and criticism of Israel with antisemitism.

Unfortunately for Israelies, they are now at more risk than ever before because of this war - either at home or if they travel abroad - and I think they have lost any compassion/empathy they had from the rest of the world after the October 7th attack, to the point that when the next attack comes, most people will just shrug their shoulders and say they had it coming.

I think they're beyond the point of caring when it comes to Gaza, and who will stop them? The US could, but Trump's base contains millions of fundamentalist evangelicals who are fanatically pro Israel, he won't want to isolate them.
The West Bank is more tricky, but Israel is currently doing it's best to spark a third Intifada which could and would be used to justify displacement of the Palestinians in the name of security.
Hamas could stop this by releasing the hostages and f@cking off out of Gaza.

I decided to delete it as realistically I don't know what is going on in the minds of people involved and it would be unhealthy for me to have a debate on this topic. But yes I am very conflicted, and don't think it is black and white at all.

But what's the one thing that hasn't been tried in the last 70-odd years? Giving the Palestinians a proper home, security, hope, a right to exist, ie their own state.
Give the Palestinians that, and then maybe there's no need, no desire for Hamas.

Absolutely. There is no justification for this.
No surprise, however, to see Israel blaming world leaders and their "toxic incitement of antisemitism" already.
Legitimate question, as I find a lot of the distinction between anti-Israel and antisemitism to be very confusion - is it right for Israel to be immediately labelling this as antisemitic violence, when it appears that the victims may have been targeted for their Israeli links rather than their faith?
