Not sure I've ever seen a poorer winning performance than that from Spurs 22:00 - May 21 with 1488 viewsDubtractor

27% possession
3 shots all game
61% pass completion
Only 115 passes all match

Obviously its only the result that matters, but bloody hell that was poor.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Every chance UEFA will take back one of our Champions League places after that. Utter bobbins.

Awful game. The both looked very much like teams we’ve taken points from this season.

Without Madison, Kulusevski and Son on the bench (assume fitness related), I'm not surprised they weren't very adventurous.

Fair play to them. They've been the less sh ite of the two sides overall this season. At least Spurs started the season okay, United have been dreadful the whole way through.

They looked the better team tbh.

But both lousy. We would have had a chance in this competition.

Ridiculous commentary suggesting Spurs have a "major trophy".

Its not one anymore. It is absolutely mickey mouse.

Thankfully for them they were up against a worse performance from Utd. Dreadful game but think Spurs did deserve that as they at least played to a plan rather than another completely disjointed showing from Utd, who once again only looked threatening once they started lumping it into Maguire in the box.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

And Manure were more intent in falling over and getting fouls and people booked.
Pretty darned awful game all round. Ref was pretty decent though.

Son came on.

United were the better team (not that that's saying much) but Spurs got the goal.

You have to laugh at this Europa Cup . The two English teams in this final are just a couple of places above us in the PL. What an advert for English football, lol!

I wonder if this means Delap will no longer be heading to Man Utd as hes being widely tipped to do so.

Would have no problem with the ref getting MOTM, although that might be harsh on a Spurs defender or two.

European version of the League Cup. The Conference League is the EFL Trophy.

I do feel a bit robbed of a European final. Usually love watching a couple teams of foreigners going at each other…..oh hang on

When you think that once upon a time you had to beat that seasons French, German and dutch champions to win that trophy

I know. It's absolutely laughable id t it. To think those fans have paid literally thousands of £'s to watch that complrtd shyte. What a state the game is in now. It's only about money. Uoj probably saw the news report I did. A fan paid £72 for hus room last night. Tonight that hotel were selling rooms for £2,300 per night for that room!

The quality of the two sides, would lend itself to that theory certainly

Given there's a widened Champions League now, you do question the validity of this one, let alone the Conference League which is truly a puzzler

As I understand it if you are knocked out of the Champions League you go into the Europa league.
Then if you are knocked out of that you go in the Conference league.
Is that right ?
If so M Mouse would be ashamed.

I said last night, on the one hand United deserve nothing from this season, but on the other, Spurs deserved nothing from that match. It was awful.

Absolutely.

I would suggest its easier to win this than the league cup. A travesty to consider it the same competition we won in 81. Rangers made rhe final 2 years ago ffs.

That’s no longer the case, the competitions are separate after the changes this year.
