When Mass joined Morsy in that partnership which seemed to instantly click in League One, all of a sudden we had a team built around a midfield which was so much better, a league or more better, than all of our opposition that it was a massive cheat code. At that point we started to really motor.
Yep. Mckenna chased him for 2 years and then spent over a million quid on him and I haven't once seen why.... just don't know what he actually is good at on the pitch.

I thought he had the ability to step up and be a very decent PL player.
But he’s just one of many that just does the bare minimum, and seems to achieve nothing.

I think he’s one that would have worked without the back to back promotions, I imagine at the time he was recruited to help us consolidate in the Championship and then push on. I’m not sure why he wasn’t loaned out this season though - he really needs to play week in week out at this stage of his career you’d have thought.

You can’t be serious? Played a load of games in getting us promoted, including key contributions in several massive moments of that season.
It’s getting ridiculous some of the stuff on here.
'we'll create more memories together.... somewhere else' got me. There are some obvious upsides to having a footballer in the family, but there are definitely sacrifices that have to be made by the families.
What a lovely bloke, will no doubt be missed hugely by the squad.
He comes across really well in this interview, from after we won promotion a year ago:
Yeah, he always does. An all round nice guy and a shrewd head in his shoulders. It’s a shame we can’t see him for another year, as I’m sure he’s still got a lot to offer. But football moves on and all that.
