Presumably we've given them something of a deadline to make a decision and commit to the new deals we've extended to them? I would think the agents are working hard to see what else might be out there. Burgess linked with a move to Spain and I saw a Rangers link, although with the managerial vacancy that might be delaying things and playing into his thinking there. Tuanzebe surely gets an offer from a PL club?

Tuanzebe starting, with Harry Clarke on the bench to come on if we are chasing a game would be absolutely ideal for us at RB in the championship. But I do think Tuanzebe is Premier League quality so would expect him to have higher offers.

He's been excellent, the other issue is that him and Davis are so in tune with eachother, which will be a big miss.
I'm sure in time Greaves might find similar wavelengths, but it is a loss.
Can't say I blame him though, if he can get a 3 year gig in Spain then it's a no brainer.

Ashton made no secret 2 years ago of the fact that ITFC need to get into player trading, that we would but players with potental and sell them for more than we paid. Its clear form teh signings last year, all are young with potential, with the exception of Szmodics, and if we get offers that provide a healthy return, we wi do it. Which means more cash to bring in young talent again.
Losing lots would be very disruptive so it would be good to see some contract extensions for some. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a starting lineup with 5 or 6 news faces. |  |
