Burgess and Tuanzebe 09:52 - Jun 5 with 2179 views | _clive_baker_ | Presumably we've given them something of a deadline to make a decision and commit to the new deals we've extended to them? I would think the agents are working hard to see what else might be out there. Burgess linked with a move to Spain and I saw a Rangers link, although with the managerial vacancy that might be delaying things and playing into his thinking there. Tuanzebe surely gets an offer from a PL club? What do we think will become of them?

I'd probably take that if offered it now. Axel is the more valuable one to us given Greaves is likely to be favoured in the middle.
Burgess and Tuanzebe on 10:17 - Jun 5 with 1941 views | tractorboy1978 | We haven't seen Axel linked anywhere else yet have we? Surprising. I'm quite hopeful that being a key player here under McKenna persuades him to stay. Can imagine he will have offers but not sure he goes anywhere higher with any guarantee of playing football.

Burgess and Tuanzebe on 10:58 - Jun 5 with 1746 views | TractorFrog | Tuanzebe starting, with Harry Clarke on the bench to come on if we are chasing a game would be absolutely ideal for us at RB in the championship. But I do think Tuanzebe is Premier League quality so would expect him to have higher offers. I wouldn’t be surprised if Burgess left, considering he has been consistently overlooked in favour of Greaves despite playing better when he did start.
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

Given his awful injury record you have to wonder what sort of contract offer he’d receive though

I know that Tuanzebe is probably the better player but I'll be really sad if /when Burgess leaves. Don't think I've ever been more wrong about a player.

He's been excellent, the other issue is that him and Davis are so in tune with eachother, which will be a big miss. I'm sure in time Greaves might find similar wavelengths, but it is a loss. Can't say I blame him though, if he can get a 3 year gig in Spain then it's a no brainer. Despite what Stuart Watson said, I imagine there will be plenty of suitors in the PL for Axel.

Burgess and Tuanzebe on 19:49 - Jun 5 with 1125 views | Pixiethecat | Know a lot will disagree but out of the two I would prefer Cam to stay. I've thought at times, Axel seemed to lose concentration and was off 'with the fairies' 🤔 (Now awaiting the negative replies 🤦)
Burgess and Tuanzebe on 20:06 - Jun 5 with 1033 views | PhilTWTD | Reading between the lines of what Kieran said at his pressers, I got the impression Axel was more likely to stay of the two but they hadn't given up on either. I'm not sure how much there was in the Rangers link, think Girona was more likely for Burgess.

For £18m Greaves is such a massive downgrade on Burgess. That pisses me off more than it should

Alternatively, if we lose O'Shea (which I think is a real danger) we could be looking at Tuanzebe in the middle with Greaves and Clarke and Johnson to fight it out for the right back slot.

O’Shea has no desire to hang around here and will be off the first offer he gets.

This was the problem with practically every signing last season - too much spent on too little return.

Burgess and Tuanzebe on 08:40 - Jun 6 with 296 views | LegendofthePhoenix | Ashton made no secret 2 years ago of the fact that ITFC need to get into player trading, that we would but players with potental and sell them for more than we paid. Its clear form teh signings last year, all are young with potential, with the exception of Szmodics, and if we get offers that provide a healthy return, we wi do it. Which means more cash to bring in young talent again. Losing lots would be very disruptive so it would be good to see some contract extensions for some. But I wouldn't be surprised to see a starting lineup with 5 or 6 news faces.

I would counter and say that was the problem with us as fans of a club who haven't been financially competitive, well, perhaps ever. We're still getting used to how much players that other top Champ / low Prem teams want cost
