In hindsight, yes he did didn't he. Didn't he have a bad ankle injury from that Fulham away game? If so, it's potentially a tricky one for the club. Is he going to make a full recovery from that injury ( this coming season will tell), or is this ankle injury severe enough to prevent him ever achieving full recovery, and might Town decide to cash in whilst his stock is still high? |

Wouldn't remotely surprise me to see him become the main man in that role though as the season progresses. Not as 'sexy' an option as Philogene or Clarke but probably the most effective and I think he will be a big player for us.
I thought we really missed him when he got injured, particularly away from home. He played that role better than anyone else and offered a real goal threat. He's what my old man would call a 'sniffer'. Knows what run he needs to make to get in a goal scoring position and clinical when he gets a chance. | | | |

The gutters are overflowing with drival about our players from useless Agents and Journalists. Generally relegated players with minimal Prem experience are not ideal unless they have the quality of LD. Szmodics has East Anglian roots and a young family . It took O'Shea, and Johnson some time to show their Prem pedigree. Unfortunately Philips and Godfrey never turned up. Don't panic KMc will control the squad. | | | |

He wouldn't need to be good enough for the Prem in two years time, he just needs to be good enough to bang goals in for us next season, which given he did at Blackburn in the Championship I doubt he'll be going anywhere...

youve got agents looking to make as much money for themselves and their players as possible, and the only way to do that is with transfers between clubs
youve got a whole bunch of news sites who have a whole summer to fill with stuff to get clicks to make ad revenues.
its a perfect storm of every one of our players will no doubt be linked to some other club at some point. There will no doubt be players at other clubs constantly linked to Town.
some of those link ups may happen, the majority wont, you just have to ignore all the speculation at this point, and what will be will be, we as fans have no contol over it. | | | |
