I’m stopping off at the nr Woodbridge house next week with my mate before a few golfing days near Norwich. Since I’m not cooking, I need suggestions for somewhere that does a good full English! I remember going there about 30 years ago and having my mind blown with the concept of cheesy chips.

Unfortunately it is served at best mildly warm nowadays and is no where near any good. Kesgrave or water park for me. Water park always ridiculously busy

Where are you? I'm in Lowestoft, so not too far to pop over. Do you do a veggie version? We go to the Lighthouse cafe here, but it's very popular and fills up quickly.

Jesters Diner in Lowestoft. They offer the Kidz Breakfast Challenge, named for its weight, which is approximately equivalent to that of a small child. This enormous fry-up consisting of 12 bacon rashers, 12 sausages, six eggs, four slices of black pudding, four slices of bread and butter, four slices of toast, four slices of fried bread, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, sauté potatoes and an EIGHT egg cheese and potato omelette. The breakfast at Jesters Diner contains more than 6,000 calories and weighs 9 pounds! https://www.google.com/maps/pl
| Best traditional full English breakfast under £10 on 12:07 - Jun 12 with 3498 views | catch74 | Loved breakfast at the Marlesford Farm cafe mainly because they had Revett’s sausages. Can’t remember price as a while back but don’t remember it being crazy, don’t think there were vine tomatoes either. | |

On Wellesley Road, near to Regents Road and Britannia Pier. I've tried various vegetarian or vegan sausages to replace the meat ones over the years, but they're all so bland.

It's grotesque In a world where a significant minority struggle to get enough to eat, such excess is revolting

Never experienced that in the five or six times I get one every year, also worth bearing in mind that they do vegan and vegetarian options in many of their cafés, the one in Boroughbridge just off the A1 twenty miles before you get to Scotch Corner even has a seven items for seven quid deal that lets you select your own all day breakfast. Coupled with the 'free' refills on £2.60 coffee (freshly ground beans but out of a fairly standard machine and not always working at some cafés) I think it is decent value for money.
