Can I be honest..... the vast majority of footballers don't have much of interest to say anyway.... and if they did, they'd get in trouble quickly with the authorities and the club. It's this continuous drive to push things further when it's not necessary. I'm truly getting fed up with football. Love it if a p1ssed off substituted player unleashed an an F-bomb and called the gaffer a w@nker... but it won't happen.

No chance of that happening. They always call the gaffer a C**t.
Who do they think this is for the benefit of? Who actually gives a monkeys about interviews with footballers & managers? Pre, post, and now mid match interviews all full of the same inane questions and stock answers for a few people to analyse to death whilst the vast majority of people pay no attention whatsoever.

Don’t think it’s a case of footballers not having anything interesting to say - but rather, they have to be very careful what they say in case it upsets the fans.
Who do they think this is for the benefit of? Who actually gives a monkeys about interviews with footballers & managers? Most of the 'interviewers' just make a banal statement and expect the interviewee to agree with it. Edited due to crap keyboard skills.
