I was from the Anglia and Look East tv regions, but lived in Herts and Beds.

It was "Temporary Classroom" or " Mobiles" where I was.

My wife also has a shocker to add...

"Rem Room"

As in Remedial.

Prefabs or the huts in Suffolk. But St Joe's always was a bit odd, so wouldn't surprise me if the rest of Ipswich used different terms.

From memory, these 'classrooms' were stacked up on bricks and the floor bounced when you walked inside. Artic-like conditions in the winter just to add to the experience.
