When 5ft nothing Chappers 10:25 - Jul 26 with 3083 views | Cheltenham_Blue | squares up to a 6ft something opposition player you know something has gone on. Does anyone have any idea what all that was about, Chappers looked absolutely fuming.

I remember John Wark saying that in his first game for Town against Leeds, "sniffer" Clarke spat in his face in the first few minutes. Then Big Al Hunter had a quiet word with Clarke.

Looked suprised he was being talked to. Reminds me a bit of the time when Omari was hundled over and the opposition was picking him up by the scruff of the neck, and then Hirst(?) And someone else ran over and barged them over

Huddersfield away, Burns got involved and ended up with a yellow. Great stuff.

Is it something to do with Norwich making a substitution?

According to Warky, Big Al told Clarke that if he went near Warky again, he'd break his legs.

That was Burns. I forget who it was against, but the defender bundled Omari over, then tried to drag him up by the collar. Burns sprinted over and sent the defender flying backwards. Reminded me a bit when I was 16/17 and played up front for my local side. I narrowly beat the opposition goalie to a long ball forward, but he carried through with his clearance and, to use a phrase from Craig Forrest, I "helecoptered" to the ground. After screaming like a baby and gingerly getting to my feet whilst re-arranging my wedding tackle, I glanced over to see the goalie lying spark-out on the ground. Apparently, one of our centre-backs had carried out some immediate retribution. It sounds daft, but I don't think he received even a booking (the ref was probably too scared to do anything!)

Definitely looked like something was said to AAH, and from his reaction and that of the rest of our players who were within earshot, must have been pretty bad to get that reaction. As it was just a "friendly", I doubt anything will be made of it.

Classic thread and comments. Chappers for club captain. Said the odd word earlier like you don't know what you're doing ref, so wasn't given the pen vs Leicester. What's going Off/On out there? VAR cobble together a story. No pen, a "coming together". Oh and Jens Cajuste has a head shaped like a 50p piece, so the ball doesn't go in the direction he heads it.
When 5ft nothing Chappers on 09:44 - Jul 27 with 648 views | WeWereZombies | What I saw, and I was pretty much in line with it, was Al-Hamadi and an Aberdeen player doing the standard pushing each other around on the goal line stuff before the corner was taken. Whether it was the difference in etiquette between how you go about it in Scotland and England or whether there was sweet nothings being whispered in each others ears I don't know, you would have had to have been in the Don's support behind the goal to see that. As Phil's report stated, it was surprisingly competitive for a friendly right from the off, much higher standard than I expected.

Renowned Protestant Ulsterman Al also had a word with Terry Butcher, after seeing him cross himself before one of his early Town games. Al said "Are you a Catholic" Terry said "No". So Al said "I don't ever want to see you cross yourself again".
