Altho phil has mentioned he's on the list.

Anyone else surprised he's even on that list.

For me at least he doesn't fit that profile of player who could be a solid prem player in the future.

I know you need a mixture and not every signing is going to be.. ala young and button. But striker I thought would be two potential prem players coming in.

a niche perspective

I'd believe that one when I see it.

If true, I find the prospect of strong interest in him hugely underwhelming. A striker that doesn’t score goals….no thanks!

Mcburnie is Polarised from the Chelsea striker we've been after... doesnt make any sense to me.

Unless he's third choice and we have someone lined up to replace Al-Hamadi?

Id much rather keep AAH than sign McBurnie.

What the striker we're never going to get. Maybe we've been turned down time and time again and we have to look further down the ladder.
Mcburnie is within our reach.
Think we're a bit arrogant in that we've got this attitude that we only sign Premier quality players. We need players to get us out of this league first and foremost.

He's got an ok record in the PL, considering in 2 of his 3 seasons in there his team have come bottom.

I think people are underestimating how good he is, because he's got a bit of a bad rep

He's a decent enough player but a b'end. Not a surprise we're in for him from a stats point of view, but very surprised from a character point of view.

His past reads quite similarly to James Norwood's. Gamechanger moved him on. I can't see why they would approve this signing, unless there is very strong evidence that McBurnie has settled down.

They approved Brandon Williams signing a few days after he'd had a 100mph crash with a car full of laughing gas cannisters; Norwood was moved on because he was disruptive and wouldn't take the club's advice on how to handle situation he was in

If you just look at the playing side, it would be very good business to get on a free.
