I part of me died when gradually all the ex ITFC players moved away (David Theobold, John Kennedy) and eventually the management team (including coach Neil Midgely) were replaced by him of the green hair. I saw him play last season though. He's a cut-above at that level. His movement and positioning way ahead of our other strikers. The management not going quite so smoothly. There are high expectations now they are settled in the new stadium

That was Robert Ullathorne. He was the one who dyed his hair green for that match, and scored their goal.

That was Robert Ullathorne. He must be a few years older than Cureton

Oh no, surely nobody would pass into his own net via a divot would they ? Never heard of such a thing.

That pitch at Brum was shocking though

Generally didn't take the penalties either (He did get 2, but Iwelumo got 7).

All ignominiously downhill from there, poor sod.

It reminded me at the time of that powder paint you used to get in school that came in big tins. It was like somebody had emptied one over his head. Not a great look. The green haired ones looked even sorrier when that ball rolled in the net under Gunn’s foot. The funniest thing I ever saw at a football match and I was lucky enough to be in Churchmans right in line with it. I was laughing too much to cheer.

Cureton has moved on from Cambridge City been replaced by another Budgie Mickey Spillane. The goal he scored at the weekend was for his new club who are in tenth tier of English football.
