Unless they're playing for their boyhood team, or one of the biggest clubs in the world, no player truly 'wants' to be at a club.
They're there because, generally, the club offered the best package. Not because they particularly want to play for Team A over Team B. | |

His ambitions shouldn’t be mixed up with reality. There is nothing certain about his decent stats in the champ translating quickly to the PL let alone him getting the time and minutes to progress rapidly. It’s not like he’s 19 or 20 next kid on block. | |

It certainly is. It’s a good problem though if he’s unsettled at Boro. Yes it’s a pain in the butt and takes up time, but I bet loads of this stuff goes on that we never hear about. If he comes and does the business nobody’s going to worry about a few weeks of fannying about. | |
