Have a really strong squad, will be full of that momentum we benefitted from previously - will be a tough night. The Championship will be strong, no one will run away with it.

They have a winning season momentum behind them which is crucial and so powerful. I just hope Towns experiences last season don’t spill over into this season. Weve had a very good pre season, so hopefully this will spill over into the the first month of the season for us to build up momentum. But it’s a helluva tough first month and we still haven’t completed our squad yet.

They haven’t scored a goal in preseason and general consensus from a mate who’s a Tricky Tree says it’s a little alarming. Should be a good test to open the season for us.

Brum beat a near full strength Forest side at home on 09:18 - Aug 3 with 58 views | Len_Brennan | I think we'll win 0-2. We still have an incredibly strong side, even without Hutchinson & Philogene, if it comes to that. Our keeper is solid, our defence is quality at this level (Young or Greaves can cover LB if Davis doesn't make it), we have Matusiwa & possibly Cajuste in midfield, and then Clarke, Chaplin & Szmodics behind Hirst. They all know how to play the system & will be a cpuple of levels above what Birmingham have been used to. Plus, they still have a significant amount of 'gelling' to go through with their new players; we'll only really have Matusiwa as a new guy, and he's been there weeks already.
