This kind of used to happen in Italy. A hotel in MIlano's business district became trading ground full of directors, agents, and hangers on - each had their own rooms or set up in the lobby, and deals were done all over the place and, I suspect, the brown envelope shop next door did a brilliant trade too.

Really wouldn't understand why a player of Cajuste's calibre and age woud go to play in Saudi Arabia. North of 30, then I imagine it's a decent way to end your career and secure your future. But surely not now.
Granted, a PL quality player like Cajuste might yet baulk at playing Championship football with us, but he will know full well our chances of a bounce-back promotion are high and PL football for him would then be guaranteed. But going off to Saudi? May as well play in League 2. | | | |

I don't think he does. I suspect he went out there as they had a bid accepted and it's polite and all that.
He seems an extremely intelligent and articulate person, and I am not sure I could marry how he presents with a lack of ethics to work for NEOM of all places, a club built into a mirage property development which has directly led to countless deaths of workers and indigenous communities.
It is estimated that over 21,000 immigrant workers have been killed working on Saudi 2030 projects, many of which are part of NEOM. I am not sure he would be up for washing that, however much he was paid, based on the little I have seen of him speak and think. | |
