wouldn't be against it, his set-piece skills may be key

Humphreys is another option. We have plenty of good level cover.

This is also why I'd start Greaves at CB instead of pushing him wide. He clearly will be the favoured pairing with O'Shea and we want them to play as much as possible together, plus it brings in Young.

His injury problems will keep him sidelined until he is sold then he will be fine.

Thing is. You try not to look at it through blue tinted glasses. But I genuinely don't think there isn't one player in the squad that couldn't be in the first 11 of others clubs. The trick of course is making it a team. Which most it already is anyway. We need to keep Chaplin in and around that first team as must as possible. We've lost morsy. Chaplin is the closest to his leadership we have at the club. Oshea will get there hopefully but he's not been part of the running towards adversity. Kinda why I wish we could keep hold of broadhead. Lose to many of the past players to soon and that's where it'll go t1ts up imo.

I think we have the best defensive unit in the Championship. I also think we have the best forward unit in the Championship. It's our midfield that needs beefing up. Every club in the Championship would take our squad over their own. We are going up again.

Mass Morsy Burgess Are three that spring to mind as leaders/experience/characters that we don’t have. Convinced SS and Young will fill a void, and we’ll see Hirst become a captain from the front. But I massively agree about keeping CC in the squad.

Lacks a bit of pace, Ogbene for Chappers for me.

I did wonder tho with ogbene... how fast is he going to get? He's beefed up a hell of a lot and those thighs are ridiculous.. if he's lost his pace. I'm not quite sure what sort of player he is..

TBF even the potential friday lineup is pretty good on 18:53 - Aug 6 with 523 views | PioneerBlue | There is no doubt the player quality is there. There is more to come too as we shape and define this squad. I have a tiny doubt eating away at me because we’ve not seen this side win much or at all and we’ve not got the backstory and war wounds to say we’ve come through those scrapes successfully. Hey!! But this is KMck 2.0 - we have to rebuild and this coaching team has demonstrated they have that ability, and the culture that MA and KMck have instilled at the club is what we are looking towards to bring this squad and team together for this title push. Blue Army.

I don't think any of the goalkeepers would get in the Stoke team.
