Yep. We can’t anyway, as we’re close to the maximum squad size. Besides, we’re stuffed full of expensive players. As long as we have at least a couple of players to cover each position, it’s all down to KM and his team to get them on the same page. Just buying more players can’t be the answer. |  |

There’s still work to be done. Start by getting the Hutchinson nonsense wrapped up, either get a deal done, or buy him a pack of soothers for his throat and he plays.
Then we need to really consider whether we want to go into the full season with J.Clarke and J.Philogene as our options ahead of Broadhead, as I’ve repeated countless times, I know my answer.

But with 8 changes it was an Ipswich 11, not an Ipwsich "team". Do there's little continuity, minimal instant understanding or partnerships. We see thus every year when we play cup games and wholesale changes are made. I actually think our two midfield youngsters did quite well under the circumstances. But I hope McKenna fiesnt make several changes each league game because it reduces the continuity and partnership / understanding development, within the team.... |  |
