His scoring rate (1 goal every 4 games) was hardly mind blowing. For me, he just didn't do enough as a striker. Darrent Bent and Shefki Kuqi had far better scoring rates.

Just watched the friendly against Lille and he played on the left of the three in a 4-2-3-1 in that game (scored two).
He's also right footed.
