What movie(s) have you seen the most? 20:05 - Aug 25 with 8045 viewsDubtractor

We've all got movies (or films, depending on your vocabulary!) that we watch again and again - last night I watched This is Spinal Tap for the umpteenth time, remastered 41st anniversary version of it at the King Street Cinema in Ipswich.

That, alongside the original Star Wars trilogy, and Zoolander, are probably my most watched.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Maybe it’s because I took a rather beautiful young lady to see it in 1986 but I have fond memories of it. The soundtrack obviously helps. Love the ending with him in heaven singing Mountains, if I remember correctly. It’s certainly better than Graffiti Bridge 😂

Never seen it since. Don’t think it’s available on any platform.

Shawshank redemption
Ben Hurr Charlton Heston
Bond films live and let die
As a kid all the Walt Disney jungle book etc
12 Angry men
39 steps
Schindlers list
Lawrence of Arabia
Indiana Jones
Etc etc

I'm not taking this as a list of my favourite films that I'd be happy to watch again and again. For me that would end up spoiling those films somewhat, I watch a lot of the films already covered sparingly as a pleasure quite rarely.

However, the films I've seen the most though are........

Carry On films by far. Carry On Camping, Carry On Abroad two I do watch very regularly but all the others I watch quite often.

Outside of those, I do watch PT&A once every November.

The every Xmas, got to be the Wizard of Oz, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and several of the Scrooge films, especially the Alistair Sims 1951 version.

Poll: How long will we be in League One/League Two from next season?

Will have to go all geeky here...

Star trek: - The Wrath of Khan

The Wrath of Khan is a great choice - Khan has to be up there with best ever baddies. He really did hate well. “To the last, I will grapple with thee... from Hell's heart, I stab at thee!”

My most watched:

Where Eagles Dare - the movie with everything

Casablanca - simply the best film ever made. Perfect in every way

Shawshank Redemption

Zulu

Dambusters

Yep those Carry on films are brilliant,as is your choice of Christmas films.

Those old films with Alistair Sims are great to,are they all black and white? I think that makes them better some how.

I’m surprised so many of you can’t understand a plot on the first watch. It’s never been a problem for me

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
