Poll: Is Micheal Mcintyre actually funny?

Wonder if it’s roles reversed this season? Sindre coming in from the touchline, Kabore overlapping full back with Davis playing the inverted full back role and Philogene/Clarke hugging the left wing.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Would be the end of Ben Johnson here so only way it really works is if he comes in and BJ goes out, which to be blunt I wouldn't be at all bothered to lose BJ

Hard not to agree with this. Not seen anything from Johnson defensively that makes me think he'll be a long term starting RB for us. If anything his flashes of brilliance have come more from his attacking ability

Who would take Johnson now though? Presumably on decent money here. Would be surprised to see a deal get done for him unless there's already something in the pipeline

I dont disagree, but,it might be one we need if other players leave

Agree if someone leaves, but doesn’t appear to be anything close in the area in terms of departures.

Interesting one on the face of it currently.

Really can't see that. We don't need a RB.

Indeed, sounds like agent talk. Having looked around, same reporter had him having talks with Southampton recently.

Can't see Johnson going. Lets be honest, down the chain couldn't afford him and up the chain are unlikely to be interested.

So why keep him if we have a buyer for him.

No point keeping him around if he doesn’t suit our play.

Do we have a buyer for him, though?

Doesn't make sense. We have Ben Johnson, Ashley Young and Harry Clarke all vying for that position, and all perfectly good enough at this level.

If you want to be the best team in the league.

Harry Clarke cannot be your starting right back.

Ben Johnson is slightly better but far from convincing so far.

Ashley Young should be, hopefully he can start vs Derby.

Who knows but would be dependent on him leaving to bring him
In obviously.

Nearly 50 international caps, lots of top flight experience in France, Portugal and Belgium and to a lesser degree Germany.

24 years old, attacking right/ wing back.

No idea if we are interested but 'on paper' fits the bill.

Agreed but we’ve got no chance as in the past not many players choose to come to Ipswich (village according to Man City fan!) which is why we’ve always struggled to attract players. That’s why our best teams are made up of local talent.
Don’t understand why Woolfy isn’t getting picked and maybe put O’Shay at RB

We don’t need a right back, or a right sided attacking player. Not necessarily a bad player, but not sure we need him.

This is a luxury deal, not a necessity deal. CDM, ST and LB are the primary deals we need done.

It might not be one we need, but if it improves an area of the squad which is important to the way we play ...

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
