Bring him back! He’s nowhere near at Burnley.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Have you considered that there might be a reason for that?

Hes definitely got better in a lot of "fans" eyes since he stopped playing for us.

Be honest with yourself Chorizo, he wasn’t all that really.

He was on the bench for Burnley on Tuesday night, in the Carabao.

One of the most important players in our promotion season.

If his inefficiencies weren’t quite all that ( which is difficult when you’re a keeper ) I’d have him back tomorrow

Unfortunately shot stopping and commanding your penalty area is a bit of a pre-requisite being a goal keeper

His work with his feet for the most was superb at times

That Wes goal and the build up

If Walton's header had gone in at Homepride Park ....

We would syill be singing his praises and he would have remained our very bestest top keeper for all eternity

No Vaz, no Muric and no Palmer

Just Saint Walton of Plymouth

I would 100% back this.

Nostalgia very rarely ends well. He was great in our promotion season, if not without his flaws. He’s not done much since he left, and been out of Burnley’s plans for a long time.

Yes, we need better than Palmer moving forward, but it’s not an immediate priority. If we were looking for a new ‘keeper, we need to be aiming far higher than Hladky

I’m not sure he’s better than Palmer as a goalkeeper but I do think he is less bad at the bits that are important to us.
