Re the comparison to Hutch - I’d say he has less of the fancy flicks and tricks that Hutch has, but at 19 he is way stronger than Hutch in his first year here. Really impressed with the way he turned players and held them off.
First thing that struck me was his stats right as the start - there was a big plus for ‘high press’.
Very exciting signing. For me he’s the ‘wow’ signing I’d hoped for, this summers Hutchinson without a doubt. Let’s hope he lives up to the hype of comparisons with Haarland, etc!!
I've only just realised that he is left footed so we have two right footed players that play on the left, but it looks to me that Egeli can play anywhere up front.
I like the fact that he seems to have a bit of everything that variety can make him unpredictable which is very dangerous. This does cut both ways though I appreciate.
