No genuine injuries - so that's a hell of a lot of sh1thousing / faking injuries / strolling off when subbing players etc.

Fair dos to the ref for adding as much time as he did - but no cards for the slowing down of the game?

The incident when their number 3 pretended to be injured on the edge of their box took a full 5 minutes. Plenty more that took a long time too. Just so blatantly cheating.

Indeed. Each half has its own extra time.

13 of 45 is pretty much 1/3 of the second half added on for time wasting etc.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who left that game thinking it's the worst game they've been to in a while
......and my last game was Spurs at-home.

To manipulate a rule that is supposed to help players with concussion etc is so bad I'm not sure where to start. To fall over holding your head on numerous occasions when clearly nothing has happened is just so bad.

Can someone work out how many times they had an injury and how many of those were head injuries.

Something needs to be done about that rule.

As for the ref well, he was awful too.

The pretending you have a head injury was getting silly. And Greaves does it too, not to time waste, to stop an attack and then is suddenly absolutely fine once the whistle goes.

Gets on my tits and risks the ref ignoring an injury if he thinks the players are not genuine.

Don't stop the game for an injury. Treat it like rugby - have the physio come on and treat the player whilst it continues.

Indeed. Each half has its own extra time. 13 of 45 is pretty much 1/3 of the second half added on for time wasting etc.

Although once you have added on the nineteen minutes that the second half extended to then you find that thirteen minutes is only about a fifth of the half by the time the final whistle goes...

I saw a suggestion that a player should go off for a minute if they’re down for more than 30 seconds regardless to if the physio comes on. Another is if the keeper needs “treatment” an outfield player goes off for a min.

The counter argument is that it could be extremely dangerous as it may discourage someone who genuinely should be checked from staying down.

If they’re injured they’ll receive treatment before going off the field. Just really frustrating to see a player go down, only for 3 mins later get up and run around like nothing happened. If they know they’ll have to sit out 60 seconds they might get up and get in with it sooner.
