Which of the new players will fire first do you think? 09:58 - Sep 3 with 1443 views | jasondozzell | He doesn't need any pressure put on him and needs time to settle but I have this feeling Egeli might hit the ground running... Impressed with his interview. Polite and humble but a steeliness there. You sense he knows his worth

Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 10:06 - Sep 3 with 1358 views | soupytwist | Egeli has already played 5 league games in Denmark this season so should at least be match fit, if not yet indoctrinated into McKenna ball.
Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 10:10 - Sep 3 with 1310 views | Bellevue_Blue | Chuba Akpom ... In his two cameos he's just looked like he could make something happen and with Clarke/ Philogene/ Nunez/ Egeli potentially around him you have to think our creativity will improve.

Ive thought similar. Tricky to judge as he has come on against an 11 man defence in both games, but he's looked to have a bit of drive alongside some decent technical ability.

Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 10:15 - Sep 3 with 1271 views | Cafe_Newman | With these new signings, we have the potential to go on an amazing run of form but our midfield needs to sing before we can expect too much from the front line. As fans, so much depends on us now. People need to wipe away their tears about those who served us well in the past but are no longer with us and stop talking up the possibility of things turning toxic if results don't come as quickly as we'd like. To answer your question... I hope it's Núñez because I think he (and Cajuste) will have the greatest impact on the whole team firing.

He's a player. Some players you can just see ooze class and ability on the ball, and he's one. He's got a bit of Broadhead about him. Need to get him in that #10 role get him up to match sharpness.

Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 10:33 - Sep 3 with 1172 views | TheGentlemanViking | I fancy Azón, looks to have the strength and physicality to thrive at this level. Had a strong pre-season, rated by Fabregas & McKenna, 2 of the brightest young coaches around, I reckon with some decent service he could be a real threat. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 12:00 - Sep 3 with 977 views | Everydayblue | Matusiwa is already firing, imo, with more to come... Regarding the AM's? I'm hoping Egeli comes with the fearlessness of youth. And I feel that, if he does. It can only kick the likes of JC and JP up a notch, with the healthy competition. So we might see a domino effect and two or three start firing at once.. Akpom could be a monster this season. He looks up for it. But I recon it will be two or three players together that find some form. That's usually the way.

Matusiwa Is already out most improved player over the last few games (IMO). Azon looks perfect for the physicality of this league- he gets my guess for firing first.

The 10 position is intriguing in terms of who KM sees as being the main man there (esp now Chappers has gone). I hadn't appreciated how adaptable Egeli seems to have been at his Danish club, with him playing all the way across the front three LW, RW, CAM roles and finding those holes Chappers used to find so well back in the L1 and early Champ days. Which is maybe why we went for McAteer as well. With him and Akpom looks like exciting times ahead.
Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 13:21 - Sep 3 with 666 views | BlueBadger | Nunez will be quiet until we play Norwich. At which point, he'll open the scoring and generally turn into a club legend.

Which of the new players will fire first do you think? on 13:22 - Sep 3 with 660 views | Axeldalai_lama | The answers tell a story of how scary good we have the potential to be. Some say Egeli, some Azon, some Nunez, some Akpom, others mention Matusiwa. Apart from the latter the rest have played only a few minutes or none at all. And yet we are looking forward to every single one in different ways. (Potentially) Exciting times!

Because he is well established in this division, he might initially be our most impressive recruit but, given the huge potential of the others, not furlong.

It certainly is, really is a vital cog as well. I like Szmodics, but I see him as more of a scrappy, hard worker, run in behind and finish type that someone who has the technicality and nous to link play in that 10. Might prove me wrong in that but I'm not sure its the role for him.

Yeah he's not really got that guile in tight areas has he. Still back him to get a lot of goals regardless of what position he plays. He's still ending up in the right place often and been a bit unlucky not to score 1 or 2 already.
