Interesting time for Omari 11:00 - Sep 9 with 2331 views | unstableblue | Nuno was generally a sit deep and break fast manager as I understood it. And wasn’t sure if that would have suited Omari - he failed in that system for Town. Nuno was seen as manager who developed players technically. Does Ange? Omari was seen as being behind Ndoi and McAtee… but Ndoi hasn’t hit the ground running and Forest felt Omari was going to get a chance, despite being left out of Europe squad. Now Ange has come in… this doesn’t feel like a Edu appointment?! Despite Edu probably being a key reason Nuno left. May help Omari get game time… but feels like this could end a car crash I don’t really know how to describe Ange style and tactics… a blancmange?!

Interesting time for Omari on 11:08 - Sep 9 with 2227 views | WeWereZombies | I feel for Nuno, I like to sit deep for breakfast too. Sometimes I can make it last all the way to lunch... For what it's worth I think Postecoglou is a better manager for Hutchinson than Nuno would have been, look at how he developed Kyogo and I can see similarities between the two players. But would it mean Hutchinson playing more centrally ?

Interesting time for Omari on 11:08 - Sep 9 with 2219 views | tractorboy1978 | I wonder if he's sitting there now thinking he's made the wrong move? Maybe not for his bank balance but footballing wise. Early days I suppose but it's not good news he was left out of the Europa League squad and it's hard to see him getting a huge amount of minutes there this season regardless of the manager.
Interesting time for Omari on 11:10 - Sep 9 with 2197 views | darkhorse28 | Ange ball - obsessed with speed of transition and winning the ball back high up the pitch. Omari must be salivating. A system built for him. It’s time to move on…, our ‘progress’ of relegation saw us lose our best two players in decades…, it’s done. Omari will thrive in any system ultimately, he’s got huge quality! Under Ange I’d think he’ll be brilliant. We can look forward to watching the WBA defence that finished 10th in this league in 2022. Maybe we should worry more about that and some actual scrutiny at home…, Forest are a good benchmark. Under Mick we let them win a game to keep them in the championship: Now they’re almost champions league, and we’re struggling in the championship. The financial investment? About the same! Before this summer, we’d spent very similar amounts. So let’s not obsess about Omari…, heartbreakingly, he’s in the right place to develop. We didn’t develop well at all…., no consecutive league starts until February in our promotion campaign, if Biurns hadn’t got injured. Who knows if he’d have got his chance. And we couldn’t get the best from him last season. I guess eventually you’ll need to address the elephant in the room. There’s a lot Forest have done a MILLION times better than us. Mostly recruitment, value, quality. But also COACHiNG and team management. Player development, and motivation. Light years ahead of our club…, and our champions league salaried manager.

I love a late long breakfast… often skipping lunch as a result I think you’re right Ange could be good for him - as much as it’s a clean slate, and Omari was never Nuno’s man. Plus Ange wants to attack more and press up on opponents which Omari prefers… Omari really struggled breaking against good quality defenders. Omari almost prefers wearing down the low block. But the problem remains Omari isn’t a pacey winger, and Gibbs-White is the nailed on no.10. Then factor in that McAtee is bloody good and I think Ange might want to start him.

Interesting time for Omari on 11:15 - Sep 9 with 2111 views | davblue | i feel like he suits both. In a counter attacking team, his speed and ability to get a team up the pitch would have been a very good weapon to have. In a team that presses high, he's a very good presser and is a good dribbler.

£400m in fees paid by Forest Different owner, bank balance and risk appetite to us Let’s see where Town are come the end of Sept. But agree if it isn’t in a better position, scrutiny of manager required.

Interesting time for Omari on 12:14 - Sep 9 with 1676 views | JammyDodgerrr | It's going to suit Omari better, I'd have thought. Plus, Ange did develop the kids at Spurs relatively well, like Gray etc. Of course it's just the heightened risk of injury. It's going to be a fun appointment, either way.

An uninspiring appointment if you're a Forest fan. I think Nuno is a very good manager, even if his style of play doesn't always appeal. But that's Forest's fault for stupidly falling out with him 3 games into the season.

Not a £20m one though - those have to be put in the exact same positions and scenarios as at Sunderland regardless of the impact on the rest of the team.

TalkSPORT reporting that Hutchinson/Luiz sub decisions against West Ham on 14:57 - Sep 9 with 643 views | unstableblue | … were a trigger point for the sacking But also reporting an inevitability to Ange coming in and had been planned for some time. Hutchinson and Luiz were Edu’s man. Despite losing 3-0 against West Ham… Luiz was not brought on and Omari minutes The owner furious. I think the issue Ange is going to have is that unlike at Spurs where he came in on good will, and was a bit of fresh air, because it turned a little toxic prior to the European trophy. Is that Forest fans and the media are a little out for him to fail already. Some interesting pressers incoming.
