If there was an election today, who would get your vote? on 16:17 - Sep 16 by Clapham_Junction
And you still end up with a president with a 2% approval rating
Is it that high … I hadn’t checked recently .. in the electorates defence they didn’t vote her in she came in after the fraudulent election winner committed a self coup of ridiculousness.

Was Castillo's win fraudulent? Most of the reports I read suggested it was just Trump-esque claims by Fujimori.

This is very interesting - and very encouraging - albeit small sample size, and lefty b*mfest focus group bias. Is this the Polanski effect, possibly not, but encouraging that there are first time Green potential voters here.
The Conservative Party I don’t believe for one second is dead they’re justifiably being exiled from being even relevant currently but they will return (as electable ,not necessarily elected) as people’s memory’s get cloudier and populist politics of all flavours get’s ridiculous and eats itself. They aren’t the oldest and most successful party historically globally for nothing.
For me any party that is committed to real electoral reform leading to proportional representation. I was going to vote for starmer because he started off campaigning for this and then dropped it. Like a lot of other things.

Agreed, I suspect at the very least they’ll get 120-130 MP’s at the next election.

I’ve never really paid that much attention to the Greens but after their new leader got ejected I had a look at their manifesto. Have to admit I do like their policies - if they are able to get their message across they could well win a lot more seats in Parliament.
Be interesting to see whether they are afforded the same exposure as hate preacher Farage has enjoyed from the BBC, ITV and Sky.

I've now got a mental image of Farage thumping a Theresa May stiff with rigor mortis against a perch as Keir Starmer tries to persuade him she's still alive 'Lovely plumage, the Conservative Blue...'

Do they still say they would leave NATO - cos that feels like madness at the moment?

I honestly think if the Lib Dems could get a bit more airtime (bit telling that the OP forgot they existed) then they'd stand a good chance. Could be the natural switch for any centre leaning tory voters and also for those labour voters who aren't Corbynites but disillusioned with how right leaning labour are now.
Indeed it is a bit telling!
The odd thing is that they would be on my list of parties that I would consider voting for.
I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.
I probably align most with the Greens but they aren't close to being a real prospect to vote for
I don't understand Corbyn's party, it's going to be a niche group in London, he'd have sent out a bigger message defecting to the Greens, not that it's a guarantee they would take him I guess?
Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Not sure. Agree it would be madness, and I suspect that they are a more agile group than the more ideologically entrenched 'main' parties in terms of being able to flex quickly when necessary. Boring, narrow-minded, stuck-in-the-mud, business-as-usual critics will say that this makes them unsuited to power - I say this makes them more suited to power given the fast-moving, multi-challenged modern world environment.
