Expecting KM may rotate a few on Tuesday? 09:48 - Sep 28 with 1487 viewsbrazil1981

Can see Nunez starting for Cajuste, maybe Clarke for Philogene, Akpom back in for Sammy, maybe Azon will get a start?

Same defence hopefully, looked solid yesterday!

That's how I see it,

Mcateer to start over Egeli as well I reckon, given that it’s an away fixture.

I’d love to see Kipre start again but he hasn’t played much football so could see Greaves coming back in

Would be really tempting but a bit dangerous to make wholesale changes....or is it as the finishers are used to starting together.

Id go"

Palmer
Young O'Shea Kipre Davis
Matusiwa Nunez
Mcateer Akpom Philogene
Azon

(Maybe even Clarke for Philogene).

Does seem madness actually to change whole team....but then the starters finish if so.

Bench:
Hirst
Clarke
Cajuste
Szmodics
Egeli
Greaves
Furlong
Taylor
Walton

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

Sorry I could not give a flying f...... For Tuesday.
This week there is ONLY Sunday.

Start with what you finished on Saturday, bring on the rest at 65 mins.
Start Sunday with what we played yesterday.

have to say, whatever team we play, we have strength in all departments and a bench that can turn things around.

You couldn't give a flying F for 3 points on Tuesday? Odd.

For some the Norwich game was being thought about back in May.

Those of you who dont live near the Budgies you may not appriciate the effect and true importance of the rivalry.
You may think that it is just another game.
To many it is the ONLY game.

If you want to see Budgie opinions look on the pink un and see what they think.
They are obsessed with it.

Be obsessed with it, that's cool, each to their own

but to the point of saying you don't care about a game before it, is a bit silly imo.

I would only bring McAteer and Akpom back in. JP is in too good form not to start. Also think we'll benefit more from Jens ability to get us up the pitch away from home.

I take what you are saying. That comment was to be taken with a pinch of salt.
But Sunday is still far far more important. If you dont think that are you sure you know this club ?
Perhaps these things are not important in Essex.

Let them obsess.
They have literally nothing else to look back on or look forward to.

Once the '16' has gone, that's it. Might as well close the club down and put it up for sale. Its the end of their world.

Sunday, and Tuesday are a chance to get 3 more points toward our continued growth.
We're leaving them behind and they know it.

Dont let them drag you back down to their level.

Win Tuesday and we could be as high as 4th?

Would be a statement going into Sunday and I can’t see wholesale changes vs Bristol City. They’ve had a good start and will very much fancy their chances against us

I know some bashed Mills for his comments Saturday but what he said about scum game was bang on.

We simply HAVE to beat them, this run is beyond a joke now and like Mick said not just beat them but beat them in every aspect.

And no it's not just 3 points, it's much, much more than that, if you don't get it, how are you a proper town fan?

But yes, let's get something Tuesday first but Sunday is a MUST win.

I can’t really second guess KMck at this stage of the season given that we’ve not seen much of certain players and we’ve started to get more consistent higher performances. However I’m imagining something like this

Palmer
Furlong O'Shea Kipre Davis
Matusiwa Nunez
Mcateer Akpom Philogene
Hirsty

If game state allows, expect Davis, Matusiwa, McAteer, Jade, Hirsty to get a bit of a rest second half

Brizzle have had a decent start but they are now down to the bare bones in midfield, with Bird and Williams out. Great time to play them with 7+ injuries.

Would you have traded promotion in 2023/24 for two wins against Norwich rather than the draw and defeat we suffered? Beating them matters because we need the points to help us go up, naturally we want to win this one in particular because they are local rivals. But if we don't beat Norwich this season and we go up then any fan obsessing over the games against them is a bit of an oddball, imo.
