Why? They show a lot of football.

Other broadcasters could show a lot of football, at more respectable times, without siphoning off money (allegedly) for the benefit of a global media enterprise that seeks an agenda that is not to everyone's benefit.

not sure referring to jews as rats is a great look, but that's just my opinion of course

Did he say all Jews? Or was he referring to Israel murdering thousands of children?

You're being disingenuous again because the implication was clear to myself and others given your last sentence about the "peaceful left".

In fact the vast majority of people arrested are peacefully protesting as I've highlighted with evidence so the attempt at demonisation was clear.

I wrote... "hundreds of arrests, assaults on police, antisemetic chanting"

Let's break that down.

Hundreds of arrests [TICK]
Assaults on police [TICK]
Antisemitic chanting [TICK}

It's not demonisation if all of those are demonstrably true. Sorry if the truth of what goes on at these marches is hard for you to accept.

Comcast?

I don't delve too deeply into United States media if I can help it so I had to look up who they were:

'In April 2014, Comcast was awarded the 2014 "Worst Company in America" award; an annual contest by the consumer affairs blog The Consumerist that runs a series of reader polls to determine the least popular company in America. This was the second time Comcast had been awarded this title, the first being in 2010...Comcast is criticized and put under intense public scrutiny for a variety of reasons. Its customer satisfaction ratings were among the lowest in the cable industry from 2008 to 2010... It has violated net neutrality practices; it has offered a commitment to a narrow definition of net neutrality... that critics say ignores the difference between Comcast's private network services and the rest of the Internet... Critics also note a lack of competition in the vast majority of Comcast's service areas; in particular, the limited competition among cable providers... Given its negotiating power as a large ISP, some suspect that it could use paid peering agreements to unfairly influence end-user connection speeds. Comcast's ownership of both content production (in NBCUniversal) and distribution (as an ISP) has raised antitrust concerns that scuttled the company's 2014 effort to acquire Time Warner Cable.' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comcast#History

So, no, not them. I was thinking more in terms of Auntie Beeb or ITV.

Didn't you do exactly this during the derby game by accusing people who threw lighters and bottles on the pitch as being "reform voters"?

It is Inherently racist to portray Jews as rats. It's an antisemitic trope that has been used for centuries to dehumanise Jews.

It is Inherently racist to portray black people as apes or monkeys. It's a trope that has been used for centuries to dehumanise black people.

It matters not whether you portray good Jews, bad Jews or evil Jews as rats it is still anti semitic. Just as if you portray good black people, bad black people or evil black people as monkeys/ apes it is still racist.

You can't excuse racism just because it is aimed at people you do not like. That's pretty basic you know.

GN says he took down the flags in response to the Manchester Synagogue stabbing.

So a man named Jihad, whose father celebrated the October 7th massacres, attacked Jewish people in the name of Islamic State but it’s fat bald white blokes putting up flags that is the problem*.

Did Gary then go into Manchester City centre in the evening of the attack and remove the thousands of Palestinian flags held by people screaming “globalise the intifada” whilst the bodies were still warm?

This is the same Gary Neville whose moral compass didn’t preclude him from taking blood money from the Qatari state a couple of years ago. He’s just another hypocritical luvie virtual signaller whose principles are easily bought.

* it’s is, but an entirely unrelated problem or something GN sickeningly and shamelessly highjacked

I'm don't believe it is an entirely unrelated problem. Scratch the surface of the Unite the Kingdom "movement", and there are antisemitic undertones all over it. These flags going up everywhere are not patriotism, they are marking territory like a dog peeing up a lamppost, letting certain people know they're not welcome. In the wake of what was a racially motivated murder, it's entirely appropriate to remove them.

How can you see this case in the news the week after the horrific attack last week and lay the blame for the rise in anti semitism at the door of the ‘unite the colours movement’
