Caught a bit of Talksport morning shows over the past couple of weeks. on 13:07 - Oct 9 by chantryblueboy | Not true at all https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c749pxlnk44o How can you see this case in the news the week after the horrific attack last week and lay the blame for the rise in anti semitism at the door of the ‘unite the colours movement’ |
There are dozens of examples of antisemitic undertones to that so called movement. That they had nothing to do with last week's horrific attacked doesn't change that. Great replacement theory is an antisemitic dog whistle, and it was platformed loud and clear in London on September 13th.

Caught a bit of Talksport morning shows over the past couple of weeks. on 13:01 - Oct 9 by Blueschev | I'm don't believe it is an entirely unrelated problem. Scratch the surface of the Unite the Kingdom "movement", and there are antisemitic undertones all over it. These flags going up everywhere are not patriotism, they are marking territory like a dog peeing up a lamppost, letting certain people know they're not welcome. In the wake of what was a racially motivated murder, it's entirely appropriate to remove them. |
wow. putting up flags is not entirely unrelated to islamist terrorism, anti-semitic murder, and allegiance to isis? what a strange world you inhabit.

Can you explain to me how the great replacement theory is anti semitic please, I’ve never heard that? Tommy Robinson is also off to visit Israel this week and is simultaneously labelled anti-semitic and a Zionist. I don’t follow the logic here and I think you’re creating a boogie man which distracts away from the real threat to Jewish people in this country

Caught a bit of Talksport morning shows over the past couple of weeks. on 10:07 - Oct 9 by GlasgowBlue | GN says he took down the flags in response to the Manchester Synagogue stabbing. So a man named Jihad, whose father celebrated the October 7th massacres, attacked Jewish people in the name of Islamic State but it’s fat bald white blokes putting up flags that is the problem*. Did Gary then go into Manchester City centre in the evening of the attack and remove the thousands of Palestinian flags held by people screaming “globalise the intifada” whilst the bodies were still warm? This is the same Gary Neville whose moral compass didn’t preclude him from taking blood money from the Qatari state a couple of years ago. He’s just another hypocritical luvie virtual signaller whose principles are easily bought. * it’s is, but an entirely unrelated problem or something GN sickeningly and shamelessly highjacked [Post edited 9 Oct 10:09]

Maybe both are the problem. Neither are righter or wronger than the other. In a similar way that the killing of nearly1200 Israeli citizens is not justification to kill nearly 67000 Palastinian citizens ( not even taking into account the deliberate starvation ). Regarding the flag draped dole collecting patriots, I would definitely on there side , be it left or right wing.

Unfortunately a lot of Jewish people feel unsafe in this country with school kids being escorted to schools by security guards. Tommy Ten-Names is responsible for similar types of hostility - maybe not against Jewish people - but certainly against black and Asian people. His rhetoric is vile and causes racial hostility, he is a disgusting person.

So you don't find a movement with antisemitic undertones distasteful in the wake of an antisemitic terror attack?

whataboutery = responding to an issue (islamist terrorism and anti-semitic murder) by making a false comparison to a completely different issue (fat bald men putting up flags). to any sane person fat bald men putting up flags may well be bad, but it is entirely unrelated to islamist terrorism and anti-semitic murder. they are things of a different magnitude and with quite different political meanings and origins. but i will leave this here cos it's frankly silly. I wasn't making any comparison. I believe that one form of racism is not completely unrelated to another, and in the wake of a racially motivated terror attack these flags put up with the intension of causing racial division should be taken down in a city in mourning.

This is the division the NF and Trump are creating." Didn't you do exactly this during the derby game by accusing people who threw lighters and bottles on the pitch as being "reform voters"? |
Sorry I was playing the game but appreciate it was subtle and went over many heads. I've heard all lighter throwing goons are Reform voters and have been seen eating red indigenous red squirrels. However anyone voting for the NF undoubtably have racist persuasions. No doubt about it. Not doubt whatsoever. The history of the NF is all out in the open.

Caught a bit of Talksport morning shows over the past couple of weeks. on 13:49 - Oct 9 by DJR | The Jewish Council and the Board of Deputies have released identical statements condemning Robinson's visit. But then again what would you expect from the Board of Deputies who are part of the left-wing British Jewish establishment? https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/415802 "The visit, however, drew criticism from the left-wing British Jewish establishment, with the Board of Deputies of British Jews issuing a statement condemning the invitation: "Tommy Robinson is a thug who represents the very worst of Britain. His presence undermines those genuinely working to tackle Islamist extremism and foster community cohesion. Minister Chikli has proven himself to be a Diaspora Minister in name only. In our darkest hour, he has ignored the views of the vast majority of British Jews, who utterly and consistently reject Robinson and everything he stands for." [Post edited 9 Oct 14:04]

https://www.thejc.com/news/uk/tommy-robinson-elitist-jews-board-israel-visit-j4j This was the Diaspora Minister's response to the statement from the Board of Deputies. “The Board of Deputies has, regrettably, become first and foremost a political organisation - openly aligned with left-wing, woke, pro-Palestinian parties. Just hours after Jews were murdered in Manchester, instead of demanding protection or holding the government accountable, the Board rushed for a photo-op with the Prime Minister. Once proudly Zionist, now politically adrift. If only they showed the same energy attacking Britain’s recognition of a Palestinian terror state as they do attacking me and Tommy Robinson.” And here is our Tommy's response.

He is entitled to his views - but as his platform is a national radio station, he should make sure that his opinions are not presented as facts and that he doesn’t peddle false information. And that goes for all presenters.
