Swansea (A) ticket details (On sale tomorrow) on 20:12 - Oct 13 with 1981 views | Swansea_Blue | They do really well with pricing over here. None of the crap we see with some teams (including us for some away games unfortunately). It’s a poor area and they’re very much aware of the sacrifices people have to make just to watch their team.

That’s pretty brutal. I’m out the night before as well! I’m sure last time we played there they left at 6.30, and still got there in plenty of time.

Swansea (A) ticket details (On sale tomorrow) on 09:07 - Oct 14 with 1370 views | DJR | It is rather worrying how little notice we get these days, with no communication yet from the club. It doesn't even give much time to decide how many of the four of us want to go. Sitters performs a very useful function in this regard, although in this case I was alerted to it slightly earlier by a friend. But if you were otherwise occupied or away, it would be very easy to miss your chance. [Post edited 14 Oct 9:08]

It's a very long way to Swansea, on roads quite notorious for hold-ups.

So as I understand it, even when they have two drivers, the one not driving is still classed as working and so his taco counts. So basically its like an hour off for every 4 hours driving....so they'll have 2 breaks of an hour I think. *As told to me,.dont shoot the messenger [Post edited 14 Oct 10:24]

Absolutely. Especially when you effectively only have a few hours before the next cat is in. They used to pre announce on sale dates, which could go in yer diary...

From experience of being on a bus to Austria several times they change tacos so the one not driving doesn't count. However despite this yes they do have to have to stop for a certain amount every 4 hours. Don't think it's as much as an hour.

Cynically, I suspect it may be a little bit of the club hoping a few people get caught out so that the stranglehold on away tickets last season may get broken up a bit given the moans last year (even though it's totally fair and the best system that can be employed which is why most clubs have it). Particularly as their aim is to get back up and stay up indefinitely in which case the 3,000 will probably settle into a fixed cabal given the lack of fluctuation in allocations and the relative ease of attending all the (limited number of) matches in the showbiz league, as opposed to proper football in the Championship.

It's 5 or 6 hours with a clear run - which you might well not get going round the M25, or past Cardiff on a Saturday lunchtime. Then there's probably a tacho break en route and leaving more than 30 mins leeway before kick-off. Pretty soon you're pushing towards that length of time.

Same allocation as last time. They did used to give a lot more if needed but stopped a few years ago.

I made this point weeks ago on here and got slated by some. It seems like the tickets go on sale on a Monday and the emails get sent out on a Sunday evening or teatime.
